“Live the life you imagined” -Henry David Thoreau
Jill Hamblen, AIA, is the owner of triARC architecture & design. As a young girl, Jill’s interest in architecture was first sparked by her mother, a self-taught designer. Jill went on to earn an architecture degree from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri and began her career working on projects ranging from children’s museums to schools.
Her interest in healthcare design began upon the arrival of her 1-pound, 14-ounce micro-preemie daughter. Her firsthand experience of spending endless hours in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit watching medical specialists care for the infants and their families highlighted the importance of efficient, functional spaces that are also inviting, warm, and aesthetically beautiful. This shaped her professional passions and expertise. Jill’s enthusiasm for meaningful design and her passion for helping others realize their dreams has resulted in the tight-knit family firm that triARC is today – and the inspired clients that the team gets the opportunity to interact with.
